Good day!

Today was great. My patient that I was gonna have canceled yesterday so I called up my class III and asked her if she wanted to come in. She wants to get done ASAP so she was delighted to come in. I got 2 quads done and finished my PSR PE and my class II/III ultrasonic PE. I was really nervous to scale her one tooth with compressable mobility. Inst. Hafen said that ultrasonicing it was sufficient because handscaling isn't gonna help any bone grow back and the risk/benefit was too high. So luckily I didn't have to spend too much time on it. My patient was really good but was very discouraged when she saw all the gauze. I hoped she wasn't going to blame me and I explained why her gums were reacting. She seemed ok with it and Shaylee said she really liked being my patient which made me feel really good! :)
