Need to focus on my time

Today went well. My first pt had a meeting at 9:30 so we just got through OD. Then my next pt came in and I finished his Tx. I spent 20 min on the first quad. I am having a hard time with time. I am so focused on not getting any errors that I scale for years and then waste time. But I'm just not sure the difference between tooth surface if its rough and calculus. I finished the rest of his mouth in 15 min because Kim told me that he just had rough teeth and not calc. I didn't have any errors though so I feel good about that.
